Shaman King
I saw the first episode when i was like ten on jetix. Yes all the good stuff was on Jetix. that’s why it’s dead now.
So, there are ghosts, there are witches, there are zombies.
Yoh is a kid who happens to be a shaman. He is engaged to be married to Anna. Yes they’re both thirteen and no they don’t get married in this show. I think it’s an arranged marriage. i didn’t pay much attention to that.
Shamans see ghosts and they team up with them. They train together to win in the Shaman tournament. the grand prize is something huge! seriously.
Yoh is a chill kid, lazy but has a good heart and is smart.
Anna is a witch (a shaman too) with great leadership skills (notice how i didn’t say bossy), very organised, very powerful and scary AF. She’s my favourite character. She genuinely cares for Yoh. They do make a cute couple.
Morty is Yoh’s best friend without any magic abilities. He sees ghosts, he’s a sidekick. Very smart, very good.
Zeke is Yoh’s twin brother that of course wants to rule the world and has to be stopped.

It’s an English anime series adapted after a manga series. I haven’t read the manga but loved the anime.
It’s got ghosts, it’s got magic and it’s got humour, what’s not to like?
Avatar the legend of Korra
After Aang’s era has ended, Korra’s began.
She’s sort of a prodigy.
Very eager to be the avatar, to help people, to learn more styles of bending all four elements… But she’s been sheltered her whole life. For safety reasons.
At the age of four she displayed waterbending, firebending and earthbending.
Though born in the southern water tribe, she prefers firebending. that’s her whole presonality.
So she goes away to learn about airbending from Aang and Katara’s youngest child and she gets first glimpse of the outside world.

Anyway.
This rich dude (inventor or something) issues a challenge these five teens enter in and win. They get free living facilities and they get to test out vehicles and other machines AND they get paid to do it. Lucky them.
BUT. There has to be a balance, one good thing and one bad show….
Pain brakes out of prison causes mayhem and these teens stop him repeatedly.
The first season is about what happened to Axle’s dad who supposedly died in a fire and Pain was supposedly responsible for his death, he was his dad’s former police partner.
The second season is about their boss Janus Lee turning bad… who didn’t see that coming though?

Sokka on cactus juice is just… Hilarious .
The show focuses on Aang the avatar and the last airbender since fire lord Sozin killed them all.
Katara and Sokka kids from the south water tribe find him and help him save the world from Fire lord Ozai who wants to burn it to crisp.
Aang a 12 year old boy has to master water, earth and fire in less than a year whiles other avatar had like 10 years time to master it all.
Toph is a blind earthbender that teaches Aang everything she knows.
Katara mastered water in record time and teaches Aang while they journey to the Earth kingdom (where they meet Toph)
Zuko hunts him. Has an existential crisis and ends up good instead of evil.

Legend of Korra is a show about the avatar after Aang’s death (natural).
“Water. Earth. Fire. Air. My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. do not mention teen titans go. Ever. please.
Teen titans was an animated show from CARTOON NETWORK in 2003. So yea, i feel freakin’ old.
There used to be a bunch of episodes on youtube. I couldn’t find any… but the first episode is called Teen Titans: Divide and Conquer
it went on for 5 seasons.
The movie was just as awesome as the show.
Favorite character are Raven and Starfire if i have to choose.
Raven is to be this evil thing, born just to bring evil in the world. But no. She didn’t give in her destiny and is a good superhero. Keeping evil at bay.
Starfire is an alien her sister framed some diamond or something and fled to Earth from the “space police”. There shevmet Robin, learned English and joined Robin’s team.
Robin left batman and formed a new alliance, Teen Titans
Cyborg is half man half robot (probably more than half tho) he loves his car. Don’t mess with his car.
Beast boy is a green shapeshifter. He’s the comedian of the group. And a badass. He looks stupid but he’s not. A little oblivious at times but very sharp otherwise.
Terra was a member too. She had earth bending powers but had her brain washed by slade Robin’s (and the team’s) arch enemy.
Another cool character is Jinx. A witch who thinks she’s a jinx. Because of her powers she assumed she was evil. But kid flash brought her to the good side.
Yes it’s a kid’s show.
i miss this show… i’ve never seen an episode of teen titans go but from what i have seen on youtube, i decided it’s shit and will not watch it ever in my life time. For my future kids (cats most likely) i have burned a CD with all the 60 something episodes of Teen Titans plus the movie Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo
Downton Abbey
Ever wondered what was it like to live in the 1900s? How the upper class lived? The rich people and their rich people problems.
The clothes are amazingly well put together, they are originals.
The house is amazing, the people are amazing, that life is just… so different.
It’s so very well written, actors are just outstanding and I heard they’re making a movie of it. The last season was sort of rushed, mixed up, kind of weird but had a happy ending.
It’s on point, how the servants had to act, how the high society had to be like. Lord Grantham’s an idiot. No way related to professor McGonagall.
My favourite are Mary and Thomas and Anna.
Mary’s purple and red dress are the best and Edith’s dress in the first episode at the breakfast is the cutest.
the freakin’ clothes are authentic. I plan to see at least the Downton Abbey if i ever visit England again.
First season is about finding an heir to Downton estate because the heir Lady Mary was engaged to drowned in the Titanic. Matthew Crawley comes and drama begins.
Second season is about the 1st World war. How horrible it was,… and more dramaaaa, concerning the youngest, Lady Sybil.
Third season… Lady Mary is married, Lady Sybil is married… Lady Edith… not so much. Drama about running the estate, consequences of war… the ending I CAN’T EVEN here’s how we felt: video of Matthew Crawley on the Graham Norton show don’t listen to the first guy with the wig.
Fourth season, was for the ladies. Mary took over her husbands work of running the estate with her idiot father. He has his moments but seriously he can be such an idiot. Edith has some drammmmmaaaaa finally.
Fifth season. Continuing Edith’s drama that has a happy ending. Mary has a happy ending. Anna gets the happiest ending.

Veronica Mars
A very underrated show. It was so way ahead of its time.
Here’s the recap:
Veronica Mars is a the daughter of the former Neptune sheriff now working as a private detective.
First season is about Lilly Kane’s murder, Veronica’s best friend. She discovers a lot of secrets and by the end of the season starts to investigate who raped her.
Second season is about a bus crash. Someone blew up the school bus as they were returning from a school trip. She discovers even more secrets that lead to the killer and her rapist.
Third season starts with Veronica’s first day of collage. She discovers who the Hearst rapist is and by the end of the season finds out who killed the Hearst dean.
Why the show is awesome:
The tiny blond girl is a smart badass
Mental illnesses aren’t really talked about, but they aren’t as taboo as they are where i live
Here you can see how a person grows up, slowly, making mistakes, some huge mistakes but tries their best to make it up for it,
Rich people don’t get away with everything. Most of the things, but not everything
Her best friends doesn’t turn into her boyfriend in series finale, they don’t discover that they love each other and all that cliché stuff
In her case her mom is the bad guy not her dad, but in her friend’s case his dad is the bad guy…
Very big issues including sexual assault, murder, etc. Kids, teenagers deal with it.
And the guy whose father was physically abused him doesn’t turn into some sort of a serial killer. Okay fine he’s got issues who wouldn’t in his case but he’s got a good heart…

VERONICA MARS the movie was funded by fans on Kickstarter. I wish i could’ve contributed, I’d love to get a hat or something with Mars Investigations logo on it.
I love the fact that the lead character has zero social anxiety. I sometimes thought she’s my role model but nah, i don’t have one, because i don’t need one.
I have downloaded all three seasons, BUT I AM LOOKING FOR DVD’s TO PURCHASE THEM LEGALLY I SWEAR. I would put the dvd’s on my book stand with Veronica Roth’s books 😛
And can i just say, her style is awesome. Her bags are just awesome. The first one i found online, but the second one i’d LOVE to buy for real. It looks strong enough to carry all my crap… the last one she had is not really a cross body bag but i’d still buy it if i saw it in a store or something
Their sense of humor is just… Witty and smart. Logan is kind of my favorite and Mac too.
